Melanie is a nationally recognized leader in health and well-being, with over 25 years of experience serving as a strategic thought partner across a wide-range of industries and organizations. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Organizational Transformations at Blue Zones, the organization responsible for identifying the five original blue zones - the places in the world with the healthiest, longest-living populations including Okinawa, Japan; Sardinia, Italy; Nicoya, Costa Rica; Ikaria, Greece; and Loma Linda, Caliufornia. She operationalized the research and led the largest workplace certification strategy deployment in the company's history, partnering with over 25 organizations nationwide.
An expert in longevity reserach, well-being science, positive psychology, and evidence-based practices, Melanie has a proven track record of transforming environments to enhance quality of life. She is particularly passionate about senior well-being, a focus that began early in her career when she worked as a personal trainer. Melanie firmly believes that it's never too late to embrace healthy habits and that every individual has the potential to add more vibrant, good years to their life.
